One of the larger pinboards i have shown you in a recent blog post behaving beautifully and allowing me to keep my desk tidy! Perfect! They work just as well propped up on a shelf if you havn't got the wall space...string and hooks come with each board so you can place it where you like.

Pin up, more.
So you saw the mini pinboards earlier in the week, here's a slightly larger version (50 x 45cm approx.) in soft grey and coral. This pinboard would be great to show a collection of photographs and memorabilia, or could just be flash way to keep your desk tidy!
You'll be able to
find these pieces and more at the 'For the Love of' Vintage Fair in
Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the 14th July, as well as many other fairs over
the next few months. Lillian's House is also hoping to open an online shop, we will keep you updo date on the goings on...

New Pinboards...
I have been giving you a few snippits of print and pattern here and there over the last few weeks and so thought it about time to show you some PROPER stuff; at the end of last week a little corner was styled, and some photographs were taken! I hope these images will give you an idea about what Lillian's House has been upto and what you can expect to see more of in the near future. Cushions, soft pinboards and odds 'n' ends pots featured and i'll be sharing more images with you soon! I hope you like the mini soft pinboards you can see below, they are perfect for those special pictures and treasures that need showing off...stand them on your desk or shelf, hang them on your wall and then admire.
The pinboards feature hand silk screen printed fabric based on an original design by Lillian's House. Size is approximately 14.5cm x 20cm, colourways will vary. This image features a grey and dark brown colourway ...REMEMBER if you want Lillian's House products in ceratin colours to fit in with your own home please get in touch, we are happy to do this for you for a little bit extra!

Stamping...simple & sweet
Rumaging in the attic I stumbled accross this little beauty! Maybe its just me but i think its a bit spesh...do you know what it it? Well apart from it being a stamp i did not know either. I had to make enquireis as to who M.Piper was, i thought perhaps a long lost relative...but no, M.Piper stands for Maris Piper, the type of potato! This little stamp was used by my family when they were growing potatoes; each and every potato sack was stamped with the potato type and number which related to our farm. I think its lovely, and again maybe it is just me with my printing obsession but i think it captures a little bit of my families history in a simple and sweet way. I feel a version of this making its way merrily into print...watch this space!

inspired much...
Some more rather nice bits and pieces that Lillian's House likes at the moment...serene, calming and a bit good. How fabulous are the paper globes in black, deliciously unusual!

Patchwork love...
...you might have seen a smidgen of a patchwork inspired print on my last blog post...here's a bit more. Over the last few days i have been fooling around with colour for the print and i thought id share a few pictures to see what you think! I have a 'penchant' for soft brights as you can see from the first image and this allways battles with my love of all things muted and serene a la second image. So many colours and which ones to choose...this will be my dilemma forever!
Any thoughts would be helpful, perhaps i will use this print in both muted and soft bright colours, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...
